Use Wiki Calendar in iCal Server 10.7 with Mozilla Sunbird

I have set up iCal Server on Mac OS X 10.7 Lion Server. Everything works great with all iDevices (iPhone, iPad). However, I would like to share my wiki calendar to PCs also and there is no easy way to do that. Apple doesn't provided any documents for users. I have to search many forums and website to make it work.  Below is what I found.

Start with setting Sunbird to connect to your iCal calendar. The information from this website ( http://trac.calendarserver.org/wiki/CalendarClients ) does work :

Mac OS X updates to become yearly

Apple has confirmed to Pocket-lint that it will be moving to a yearly update cycle for Mac OS X in the future.

The news comes as the company releases the next version of its operating system, OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, to developers, giving them a chance to see how the new features can be used to enhance their own apps.

Chances are, you’re already salivating to download the latest version of OS X 10.8, Mountain Lion, when it’s released later this summer. For a fair number of Mac owners, though, installing Mountain Lion is going to require buying a new machine, as Apple has abandoned support for Intel’s GMA 950 and x3100 chipsets.

Apple Officially Drops 'Mac' Name from OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion

With the launch of Mac OS X 10.7 Lion in the middle of last year, Apple was clearly trending towards dropping the 'Mac' From 'Mac OS X', which has been the name of the Macintosh operating system for more than 10 years.

Though it still used the 'Mac OS X' naming scheme in press releases, Apple called the new system 'OS X Lion' on both the main product webpage and the Mac App Store product page [Direct Link].

Apple unveils Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion coming this summer with 100+ new features

Apple on Thursday announced Mac OS X 10.8, dubbed "Mountain Lion," the next major release of its Mac operating system, set to launch on the Mac App Store this summer, with a preview now available for Mac developers.

A developer preview of the forthcoming operating system update was released to developers on Thursday, and Apple has boasted that Mountain Lion packs over 100 new features, including many brought from the iPad and iOS mobile operating system.

"Passware" Forensics vendor warns Mac OS X FileVault vulnerable to decryption

Passware, a vendor of forensics tools for recovering data for law enforcement, has issued a warning that its forensics tools can bypass the security of FileVault disk encryption in Mac OS X if the computer is left powered on, recovering decryption keys from memory.

While catering to law enforcement, the company issued a warning to home users "of the vulnerabilities of Mac encryption solutions and advises users to shut down their computers especially when working with confidential data."

Apple rolls out Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3, Snow Leopard Security Update

Apple on Wednesday released a host of Mac OS X updates, including 10.7.3 Lion and Lion Server, which brings various system improvements and expanded language support along with Safari 5.1.3, a new version of Sever Admin Tools, fixes for Apple Remote Desktop and security updates for Snow Leopard.
